 Sask Alpine K1 Programming Minimize

     1)      Program Coordinator Job description:

a.       Coordinate the Coaching, travel, accommodation, meals, lift tickets and out of province race / camp registrations.

b.      Create a budget for each camp, set up a K1 Program bank account, collect user fees and pay the bills.

      2)      Sask Alpine contribution:

a.       The designated Sask Alpine coach will attend all K1 camps and Westerns.   K1's attending Sask Cup races will be coached by clubs.

3)      Athlete selection for all Camps / races except for Speed Camp, Westerns and Whistler Cup

a.       Athletes not already registered will be registered on a first come, first serve basis.

b.      It is difficult to use previous season Sask Cup race results as qualifying criteria since many of the K1 athletes were in NGSL and may not have raced Sask Cup.

c.       If there is more response than we have initially planned for in Coaching Staff, we will attempt to recruit more Club Coaches as required.

My goals: I believe I have a lot to offer the Sask Alpine programs and I look forward to being able to share my ski racing knowledge and experience with the athletes of your club. With my extensive alpine racing background including World Cup and Olympic participation, I gained a deep understanding of the requirements both physical and mental which need to be developed in order to be successful. I look forward to making a strong commitment to both the athletes and their goals, as well as overcoming any challenges in order to meet their objectives.
