To all club prime contacts and coaches. Distribute within your ranks.

Alpine Saskatchewan will be providing an Alpine Canada Officials Level 2 course on Sunday, March 7th in Regina and Saskatoon. Both coaches and volunteers would benefit from attendance at this course.

This course is relevant for coaches seeking an Officials Level 2 course to be compliant for filling the referee role at races (along with a CSCF Development Level certification). We are thin on referees in the province, and you are encouraged to pursue this. There are no prequisites to attend an Officials Level 2 course for coaches (other than having an Entry Level certification). Note that attending the full Officials Level 2 course equates to 1 RM (Risk Management) and 4 ED (Education) CSCF credits.

This course is relevant for volunteers with an Officials Level 1 standing to fill race roles such as Start Referee, Finish Referee, Race Chair, Chief of Gates, Chief of Race, Chief of Course, Chief of Timing, and Race Secretary. Note that volunteers are expected to have prerequisite experience before pursuing an Officials Level 2 as outlined at:
http://saskalpine.com/Programs/Officials/tabid/83/Default.aspx#level2.

The course will be offered from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Regina and Saskatoon via video conference link in the following rooms:

- Regina: Sask Sport Building, 510 Cynthia Street (North/back door), main conference room.
- Saskatoon: Sask Sport Building, 1870 Lorne Street (South/side door), main conference room.

Cost will be $10 and charged back to the respective club. For a preview of the course content, refer to the course presentation at:
