This email is being sent to all prime club contacts and coaches.

There are some key points to be aware of for the upcoming Sask Cup race at Table Mountain on January 16-17.

1. This race is being used as the Saskatchewan Winter Games qualifier for selecting District team members (either directly via designated quotas or indirectly through the fill policy). Note that although E2 youth and Seniors are not eligible for the Games, they are still included in this race.

2. The race will be conducted as a Kimber Kombi on the Saturday, and regular Slalom on the Sunday. Bachleda format for both days.

3. As part of Sask Alpine's initiative to implement b-net safety fencing for our alpine ski racer training and races, and to begin building a long-term replacement fund for the fencing, a Sask Alpine levy of $2.50 will be applied for each racer for each race day for this and future Sask Cup races. This will be reflected in the race fees.

The race notice has been published on the Sask Alpine web site. It can be retrieved through the Calendar or from the Programs > Sask Cup > Race Calendar menu option. The racer/volunteer registration form and Bachleda reference document is at the same location.

For more information about the Saskatchewan Winter Games, visit the Sask Alpine web site page for this event at http://www.saskalpine.com/Programs/SaskatchewanWinterGames/tabid/222/Default.aspx.
