This message is most pertinent to the clubs using Mission Ridge and Table Mountain for racer training and races and plan on taking advantage of the b-net that is planned to be installed.

Read through the text below. Focus specfically on the 'User Clubs' section, but also review the other two sections. Respond with any comments and/or concurrence as a representative for your club.

Thanks.

Terry Hooper

Alpine Saskatchewan b-net Responsibilities Agreement

This document provides the foundation for how the involved groups will be responsible between each other for the use and handling of the b-net equipment that will in place at Mission Ridge and Table Mountain beginning in the 2009/2010 ski season.

All parties should read through each of the sections below. Each will be asked to respond with their concurrence. Any concerns should be addressed to Terry Hooper - President, Alpine Saskatchewan.

Alpine Saskatchewan
- Will provide training for the clubs and ski areas each year on the installation and care of b-net equipment.
- Will establish a user levy fee to be applied at races to set aside funds for upkeep and replacement of b-net fencing over time.
- Will pursue sponsorship to assist in the upkeep and replacement funding of b-net fencing over time.
- Will gain approval of Ski Areas before placing sponsorship materials on b-net fencing.
- Will cooperate with User Clubs and Ski Areas to provision a suitable storage container that is cool, dry, in the shade, and sealed from vermin and bug infestation.
- Will be responsible for coordinating any necessary inspections of the b-net fencing.

Ski Areas (Table Mountain and Mission Ridge)
- Will notify Alpine Saskatchewan when new staff require training sessions on b-net installation and maintenance, and will coordinate annual training sessions for this staff. Must ensure that any staff working with the b-net have attended a training session.
- Will provide space for an off-season storage container for the b-net. The storage container will be provided by the user clubs in cooperation with Alpine Saskatchewan.
- Will notify representatives of the User Clubs when the b-net is to be put aside to allow maintenance of runs.
- Will provide b-net maintenance when not being used by the User Clubs.

User Clubs
- Will notify Alpine Saskatchewan when new members require training sessions on b-net installation and maintenance, and will coordinate annual training sessions for these members. Must ensure that any members working with the b-net have attended a training session.
- Will be responsible for installing b-net in consultation with Ski Areas.
- Will be responsible for 'lifting the skirt' of the b-net when finished for day during training and races, and dropping the b-net again prior to training and races.
- Will respond to requests from Ski Areas to move b-net as required to allow maintenance. Would also be responsible for reinstalling the b-net following this maintenance.
- Will cooperate with Alpine Saskatchewan and Ski Areas to provision a suitable (as defined above) storage container for the b-net at the Ski Area location.
- Will be responsible for removal of b-net at end of season and placing in off-season storage container.
- Will attach an Alpine Saskatchewan user levy to all hosted races where the b-net fencing is employed.
