The 2009 version of the Alpine Saskatchewan education letters for club-level athletes is now available on the Sask Alpine web site under the Resource Library menu. Note that there are two documents; the cover education letter and a supplement document with a discussion about how the athletic and academic goals will be achieved in concert with each other.

The intent of these documents is to provide a letter to open discussion with an athlete's education institution to show that the youth is involved in a recognized program, and that their involvement will need to have the cooperation with the school administration to meet their goals.

Each club can notify their members about these documents so that they can use them if desired.

For athletes enrolled in the provincial-level programs, there is a separate cover letter that speaks to that higher level of commitment and would have the youth's name embedded in the letter. Obtain this document from your program coordinator.
