Re: Sask Alpine Multi Club Mountain Camp.

As per discussions at the Sask Alpine Spring Program Planning meeting, the recommended dates for this camp are as follows:

December 1 Tuesday - Travel
December 2, 3, 4, 5 Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday - Ski
December 6 Sunday - Travel

I did some inquiries about accommodations in Canmore and things are booking up very quickly this fall.

In an attempt to have everyone stay at the same facility with suites offering cooking facilities, I am recommending the following hotel property for this camp:

Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge, Canmore, AB.

Rates outlined below.

ASAP - please contact the hotel at 403-678-5445 or 1-800-665-6111 and refer to Sask Alpine Multi Club Camp to make your Club's reservation and receive the rates listed below. The block of rooms is held until November 17, 2009. Any unused rooms will be released at that time.


A Block of 30 rooms has been set aside. Here is the breakdown of the rooms available and the cost. Please note that some of these rooms may have already been booked by some clubs:

4 rooms: $70 Standard room with 1 queen size bed and kitchen (max 2 people)
9 rooms: $80 One bedroom Apartments - queen size bed, bathroom, kitchen, living room (max 4 people)
8 rooms: $70 Standard stlye room with 2 double beds (max 4 people)
1 room: $80 Standard Style with 2 double beds and Kitchen (max 4 people)
1 room : $151 Two Bedroom Apartment - 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds in each, kitchen and bathroom (max 6 people)
5 room: $110 1 Bedroom Apartment with loft - 1 queen size bed, kitchen and bathroom, 2 double beds in loft (max 6 people)

The format of the camp will be discussed and planned at the Sask Alpine Fall Meeting.
