Sask Alpine is now taking nominations for recipients of the annual Nancy Greene Volunteer and Instructor of the Year awards.

These awards will be presented at the Alpine Saskatchewan Nancy Greene final race/festival in Wapiti on March 21st. Deadline for submitting is March 13th. The process for nominating each is detailed in two separate documents located in the Resource Library page of this web site, but for direct access use the following links.

This award is to be decided by a committee of club representatives along with a Sask Alpine board member. I need a member from the Nancy Greene program in each club to volunteer to be on this committee - and the names are to be forwarded to Karin Diehl-Ferris (Sask Alpine Director of the Nancy Greene Program) at k_diehl_ferris@hotmail.com. Volunteer requests are to be received by March 13th as well. The responsibility of this committee will be to determine the exact voting process, review the nominations received, and select one person to receive each award based on the information provided.
