Hi PAAST Folks:

Cycling is an excellent cross training sport for alpine skiing.

Unlike running, it does offer cardio training, but with more of a leg and
core body strength component that is excellent for alpine skiers.

Please pass this information along to your child so that they will consider
cycling as another great way to improve their fitness level through out the
summer months.

Thanks.

Hey Dwight,

Good to hear from you. I hope you are having a busy spring.

Our rides have started, but have been a little hit and miss due to the
lovely spring weather we have been having. Our mountain bike rides are
Tuesdays at 6:30pm and meet at the Cosmo Lodge or 6pm at Fresh Air. Road
rides are Wednesday at 6pm and we meet at Fresh Air, also Saturday mornings
at 7am meet at Great West Coffee Co. This is the link to our club website
that I am keeping up: http://www.saskcycling.ca/~rnr/ . Our Pine Needle
Classic Mountain Bike race is this Sunday at Little Red as well. The
attached poster has all the details.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Have a good one! Mike

Hi Mike:
It is that time of the year when I am trying to motivate my PAAST kids to
stay fit.

Please email me the details on any Club Mtn or road cycling sessions that go
on.

Thanks.
