The 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games may possibly go down in history as one of Canada's most defining events. It was great to see such an enormous collaboration from so many people from around the world, which resulted in an amazing show of camaraderie and sportsmanship. Truly an inspiring time that has left us with stories to tell forever! Winding It Up For Winter - Tips For Ski Storage and Travel. Its time to pack away the skis for the summer, and bust out the mountain bikes, surf boards, kayaks, canoes, golf clubs, climbing shoes and whatever sporting paraphernalia that have been lurking dormant in storage during the winter! However, before doing so, remember to prep your skis for travel and storage! Here are a couple of tips to ensure proper storage of your gear: Tune & Wax: It's important to tune your gear before storing it! This way it's ready to go as soon as the snow flies. Put on a coat of storage wax to prevent the bases of your skis from drying out and remember to leave the wax on, don't scrape it off. If possible, put them in a bag in a storage space of approximately 30-40% humidity to prevent corrosion on the edges. Ski Straps: Invest in some ski straps to protect your edges from knocks as well as preventing the bases from scratches when they rub together. These essential little gadgets are used when storing skis and when transporting them. Check out our two new types of straps. Bindings: Spray your bindings with silicon and take the tension off the springs by winding down the DIN setting to 0. Stock Up If You Are Headed South! If you're skiing or training in the Southern Hemisphere this season, be sure to check if you need any new tools before you travel. Tools overseas can be very expensive and in some countries difficult to get! <http://click.icptrack.com/icp/relay.php?r=7555565&msgid=189019&act=C1UH&c=5 95331&destination=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sidecut.com%2F> Click here to see the full range and our new Sidecut Online store: www.sidecut.com <http://click.icptrack.com/icp/relay.php?r=7555565&msgid=189019&act=C1UH&c=5 95331&destination=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sidecut.com%2F> <http://www.sidecut.com/miva5/graphics/00000001/WCthelotLg.jpg> <file:///\\Users\demelzaclay\Library\Caches\TemporaryItems\moz-screenshot.pn g> <file:///\\Users\demelzaclay\Library\Caches\TemporaryItems\moz-screenshot-1. png> New Products At Sidecut: The Sidecut range just got bigger!
