I talked with Gavin about the chaperones a while back, and he asked that I coordinate getting chaperones organized for trips. This also works well for me because if there's any issues that arise I'm on the board so I can be a conduit for that. So I'm basically in that coordinator role.

Isla: Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like you  were organizing the accommodations for each of the Developmental Team trips. If so, then it would seem that you're in a trip facilitator role for the team. Is this fair?

One responsibility that seems to still be needed is someone to coordinate expenses that would be shared between the parents for this program, and the payment into this pool to take care of those expenses (i.e. a 'treasurer' role for the team). For example, the teleconference costs that would have been incurred a couple of weeks ago when we had an all parents meeting by phone (I'm going to publish the minutes from that later tonight). Also there's the purchase I made of the router for Internet access at Canmore for all the kids to use for their homework. Can someone step up to take on this 'treasurer' role?

I also wanted to ask the 'old salts' from last year's programs if there is any other parent designate roles we should establish so that we have one family responsible for certain aspects of the team program.

Hmmm... the silence is deafening on this topic!

Isla, was my assumption incorrect for you taking on a role of organizing accommodations?

We should have someone step up to fill in a minor role of 'treasurer' for the team...
