My apologies for the delay in confirming that I am available to chaperone this camp.
Will I need to bring a vehicle to pull the trailer from Saskatoon to Table Mt.?
Alex: what equipmet should the kids bring or not bring? Will we be skiing for the whole day on the 23 Dec?
Isla: Have you set up accommodations for this trip and where are they?
Everyone:Can everyone confirm attendance at this camp?

Hi Marlene and Alex,
Katie will only be traing on Dec. 22 as she has school projects to complete in the last week of school before the Christmas break as the team will also be away the first four days of school right after the holidays now.
Will the team be training on Dec. 23, too?
Thanks!

The current schedule has the Developmental team going from Thursday, Dec 20 to Saturday, Dec 22. The previous version of the schedule went from Friday to Sunday. |

We are in the midst of discussions at the Board level about resolving the conflict of transportation between the Developmental and Provincial Teams. The outcome of these discussions may mean that the Developmental Team has the SaskAlpine van dedicated for their use - which would mean that it would be used with the trailer for the trip to Table Mtn. Stay tuned... an update on this is expected by end of next week. |

Hi everyone,
I am still working out the details on this camp. It will most likely be 3 days of slalom training involving brushes, stubbies, and full gates. Since I have never been to the hill, I don't entirely know what I have to work with. But, I will be skiing there on sunday and have a better idea of what exactly we will be doing.
I will keep everyone posted.
Byebye for now,
Alex |

To date I only have Katie for Sat Dec 22, Martin and Sean for all three days. Can the rest of the group confirm their attendance. The accomodations that have been booked need to be released if not needed. Please let me know before Thursday December 13.
Alex - I assume the Sask Alpine van will pull the trailer from Saskatoon to Table Mt.
Thanks

Camps are not optional.
If there is a camp scheduled for Dec 20-22nd, everyone who is part of the developmental team will attend. Showing up for 1 day is not an option either. If only 2 athletes are dedicated enough to show up, I will have to cancel this camp for everyone and penalize those who are actually wanted to be a part of this team.

If I do not have to cancel this camp, here is the transportation solution.
Gavin will have the team van for his FIS athletes that week in Panorama. If Marlene can drive up the Regina kids, and I can drive the Saskatoon athletes, all we need to figure out is how Martin can get to Table Mountain.
Eurika, would it be a problem for you to drive Martin to the camp? Let me know if it is a problem and we can find an alternate solution.
Thanks,
Alex |

Hello everyone.
I'm a little busy at this time of the year so I appologize a head of time if I missed something. Eden and I were at asse for a gs camp of the week end. I tried to reply to the Table camp from my blackberry but I learned it only went to Terry H. Eden will be at the tb camp and will go with Marlene. Eden will also be at the meeting spot, not sure yet where, for Dec. 30 and Dec.31 and a noon pick up. She will the travel with her family to Pano on the 1st, I then expect she will be coached by Alex and not her club coach. I'm on course crew set-up. Does Eden stay with her family at Pano or with team? I'msorry if I have missed aTHREAD.
Also Terry H I need that spell check solution if you have't already noticed.
Who is Chap after Pano? If someone wants my Feb dates I could Fly out Monday Morn after I get my family back home sunday. THe seat sale is on now for $109. then I would book a shuttle to get to canmore. I need to know asap as I will do my staff schedule on Dec. 17. and I will need to boodk people to work for me. pls reply soon. Brian

Hi everyone,
I didn't mean for my last post to be a harsh one. I had heard from some that they couldn't attend this camp and only thought that 2 of our athletes were up for participating.
As for Panorama, I believe athletes will be staying with their families for the race. The K2 team will ski together on the hill at the race.
Thanks for getting back to me on this guys. I really appreciate this!

Isla:
Can you tell me where we will be staying, (name, address and phone number of hotel), for the Table Mountain Camp. I need to get this information to Maureen no later than Tue evening. Maureen will be driving up to Battleford Thur evening and needs to know where we are staying.
Thanks

Hello everyone.
Just a quick update on our next camp at Table.
Slalom training all 3 days; training brushes, stubbies, and full gates. So please bring shin guards, pole guards, DH suit, helmet and slalom protective bar, clothes for dryland, running shoes, and whatever else I might have forgotten! Also, I would like the athletes to each bring a yoga mat for stretching and other exercises.
Thanks and see you all very very soon!

Alex:
There are lots of gates in the trailer as well as +/- 20 stubbies.
Just so everyone knows these are the plans for this trip. My cell phone is 581-7881.
Sean, Eden and myself will be driving to Saskatoon Wed evening. We will have a truck that seats 8 and the alpine trailer with the gates and lots of room for gear. Thur morning, we will pick up Alex at 8:00 and leave the city by 8:30. Arrive at the hill by 10:00 am. Martin will meet us at the hill Thur am. Mariah will drive up on Thur evening. Lauren will be coming up Thur or Friday evening. Katie will meet us on the hill Saturday morning. Taylor may or may not attend.
Our lodging will have breakfast provided. Fridges in the rooms but no stoves so we will be eating out at supper. I will provide lunches on the hill. Isla will follow up with the information about the accommodations. Martin and Mariah will be driving home on their own. I will drive the rest to Saskatoon and then on to Regina Saturday evening.
Thanks Marlene |

Katie does not need a lift pass as she has a season's pass for Table Mountain. |
