I've had trouble trying to keep track of the people's contact information that are associated with the Developmental and Provincial Team parents, kids, and coaches (not to mention the executive). I think it would be a good idea to centralize this reference information on the SaskAlpine web site, but I understand people's concerns with making this information generally available to the public. I've come up with a possible solution to address both concerns, but I want to get feedback from everyone in case people are seriously opposed to this idea.

Here's some background. Everyone can currently go through the web site's Contact Info menu that exposes general contact information for SaskAlpine Exec and the club contacts.

I've added another page off the Contacts menu called "Full SaskAlpine Contact Information - Secured". This page is not visible to anyone unless you're logged in and are in a club associated with SaskAlpine. If that's the case, you will see the contact information for the SaskAlpine executive.

However, there's a second 'module' on this page that has more strict access control. This module is not visible to anyone - unless you're on the Executive (including Gavin and Alex) or associated with the Developmental or Provincial Team - and you're logged in. So this page is secured from being displayed to any other people besides the people in these groups. This 'module' contains the contact information for the Developmental and Provincial Team members. I've tested this feature through various types of SaskAlpine accounts with varying group associations, and it works exactly as described above.

Now, how do people feel about that? If you have issues with any of your contact information showing at all, I'll remove it completely or whatever parts you'd rather leave off. For my part, I'm leaving all of ours on for everyone to have an central reference in case you need to reach us.

Note also that there's a little printer icon in the bottom right of the contact information box. Clicking on this printer icon will let you print that information in that box if you want a hardcopy.
