The following is information I've been asked to post and make available to all. Regina is provisioning a trip to Kimberley, BC for training and any others that want to just go for a last month trip. Note that responses are needed by January 25th, so respond to Gord Poulton or Judy Young directly via their phone numbers (see information below).

 

 

REGINA ALPINE SKI TEAM
KIMBERLEY TRAINING CAMP
February 27 to March 2, 2008
 
Camp Details
 
Departure February 27, 2008 from Young’s Equipment Regina
Return March 2 after skiing, arrival at Young’s Equipment 2:00 am March 3
Accommodations at Kimberley Ridge Condos on the Mountain (2 athletes per bed)
4 days skiing a Kimberley BC
Family and youth orientated trip
 
Camp focus is Slalom Training
            (each age group will have approximately a Coach to Athlete ratio of 1-6)
            Night slalom training on the main run Friday and Saturday nights
            K1 Athletes working with stubbies and full gates
            K2 Athletes working with full gates and course drills
            J Athletes working with full gates and training with the North Star Racers
            Timed training runs
            Dual race at end of camp
 
Camp Costs
 
$450.00 per Athlete
$325.00 per adult or non camp participant
Costs include Bus Transportation, Accommodations and Coaching for Athletes
Participants responsible for lift tickets and food
(All participants must be a Saskatchewan Ski Club Member or become a member of the Regina Ski Club)
 
Confirmation of attendance and trip deposit of $150.00 is required by January 25, 2008

Hi Terry,  In your preamble, you indicate February 25th is the cut-off date. In the notice from RART (Judy?) the confirmation is required by January 25, 2008. What is the correct date? Thanks, Cameron.

Thanks, Cam. Good catch. Right you are - it's supposed to be January 25. I've updated the original post with the corrected date.
